We sent a reminder to the remaining active email owners who have not yet completed the migration of the emails to Names.co.uk 

If you have already migrated your email brilliant, you should now be all set up.

If you haven't please take action today, what to do is listed below;

We've now updated your email services so that all new mail is pointing at the names.co.uk platform. In order to access your emails, you must start using the new names.co.uk WebMail interface here: https://webmail.moonfruit.domains/

What will I need to do?


Log in to WebMail using your current Gandi username and password (your domain email address and the password you use to login to Roundcube). Even if you use a local email client to collect email, it is important that you log into WebMail first so that we can synchronise your Mailbox.

Your email import will begin automatically, and you can monitor its progress from the Settings => Email Import page. If required, you can also request a re-import of specific IMAP folders, as described in this support article.

Forgotten your password?

You can reset your Gandi mailbox password in your new Moonfruit.domains control panel. This guide will walk you through updating your password.

Checking your email settings

If you use a local email client such as Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail, or get your email on a mobile or tablet we would recommend that you check the incoming and outgoing server host name you're currently using, as you may not need to make any changes at all. Before making any changes, you MUST first log into WebMail with your existing login details.

  • If your incoming mail server is currently pop.example.com or imap.example.com, you do not need to make any changes and your emails will continue to be received through names.co.uk WebMail.
  • If your incoming mail server is mail.gandi.net then you will need to change the incoming mail server to pop3.hosts.co.uk (if you have a POP account set up) or imap.hosts.co.uk (if you have an IMAP account set up).
  • You will also need to check your outgoing mail servers. If your outgoing mail server is currently smtp.example.com then you do not need to change this.
  • If your outgoing mail server is mail.gandi.net then this will need to be updated to smtp.hosts.co.uk
